We had such a great show today… here are the highlights…

• We’re big fans of sushi here on the show, but perhaps we’ll be a little bit more cautious next time we go out for some delicious raw fish: a popular sushi joint (in Los Angeles, thankfully, and not near us) was busted by the feds for serving whale meat.  And horse.  Eww.
• Apparently yet another al Qaeda operative was discovered to have been working in, of all places, US nuclear plants.  For some reason, the Bloodhound Gang’s song “Asleep At the Wheel” comes to mind…
• Sean Penn wants you to die of “screaming rectal cancer“.  Really, Sean?  We’d hate to tell you what we really think of you…
• You (yes, you!) have been nominated for a Nobel Prize this year.  Really!  (Now wouldn’t that look great on your mantle next to that terrible picture of you in that Christmas sweater from Grandma?)
• We discussed a great deal regarding our nation’s ongoing healthcare debate.  We aired the audio from this video which does a pretty good job of boiling down the debate into simple terms.  We also got onto a bit of a tangent about Obama and his campaign promises — and whether or not he’s been keeping them (hint: one of them was transparency, and he and his administration have been anything but transparent while putting together their ideas for a new healthcare plan).
• Friend of the show Trevor C called in with updates from the wonderful world of Disney.  (You bastards in Florida were hogging all the nice weather today…)
• Another friend of the show, Mike R, called in to play “Fact or Utter Bullshit”, winning our infamous trivia contest for a second time and getting himself a nice little prize — a $25 Amazon gift card.  We really need to start making these prizes harder to win.
