Coming up on our October 6th 2010 show…

Posted in Coming Up by Shawn R on October 6, 2010 No Comments yet
So if you don’t listen to the best radio show on the planet tonight, this is what you’ll miss…
  • We’ll be talking about how the United States is about to become a lot more like China than any of us realize… trust me, people, this is not a good thing!
  • Also, tune in to hear about why I am personally boycotting the breast cancer research movement until some changes are made.  Are you a woman?  Or maybe a man who majors in women’s studies?  Does my boycott piss you off?  Tune in for my explanation, and feel free to call in and tell me if you still think I’m wrong.

All this and much, much more tonight on Irreverent Radio… don’t miss it!  We’re live worldwide at 10pm Eastern; use the links at the right to tune in, and please call in to join the discussion at any time.  We love hearing from our listeners!

Dear America: What the Hell is Wrong With You?Coming up on Irreverent Radio for Wednesday, March 31st… we dig deep to discover just what the hell America’s problem is. Between the entitlement complexes, the self-serving, the lying, the greed, the laziness, the irresponsibility… we’re just sick of it all. So we ask, very simply: Dear America: What the hell is your problem?! (If you can answer that question, please call us during the show — we’d really like to know!) Plus the usual news about your favorite idiot celebrities, and probably an abundance of utter randomness. You know us, you love us — we are the one and only… Irreverent Radio!

Coming up for Saturday, March 20…

Posted in Coming Up by Irreverent Radio on March 18, 2010 No Comments yet

We started discussing our nation’s healthcare crisis on last week’s show, but we have so much more to talk about… who should benefit from a national healthcare plan, if one is put in place?  Who should pay for it?  Should there be limitations or exclusions?  And, most importantly, just what is actually in this healthcare bill that Obama and Pelosi are trying to shove down our throats?  Let’s talk about it!  Give us a call, send us a text, or e-mail us… we’d love to get you involved in the conversation.

Also: this is our last Saturday show.  Starting next week, we’ll be live on Wednesdays at 10pm Eastern, immediately following the “Bad Side…LIVE!” show with Tyler Hollywood on TalkRadioX.  Be sure to check out Tyler’s show at 9pm Eastern, then keep it locked for the Irreverent Radio you know and love!

 Dr. Obama

If you haven’t checked out the show yet, this is one you won’t want to miss… Shawn and Shawn (and Rick) take on one of the most hot-button topics in existence right now: universal healthcare. We’ll be sharing some of our own stories and experiences regarding our current healthcare system, throwing out our opinions on how to build a better system, and of course taking your calls. Plus: did you know you might be getting a Nobel Prize this year?… and another installment of “Fact or Utter Bullshit” with your chance to win a fabulous prize from our vault! Don’t miss it… this Saturday, March 13, at 3pm Eastern.

Our re-debut is today on TalkRadioX!

The kind folks at TalkRadioX have opened up our existing time slot (Saturdays, 3-5pm Eastern) in their schedule, so we have a new home now!  After doing sound checks tonight both by myself and with TRX’s program director, I’m confident that things will sound good when we go live at 3.*

So we invite you to join us for what will hopefully be a much better sounding (and therefore much more fun for you, the listener!) Irreverent Radio.  And by all means, give us a call too (661-349-TALK) and tell us what’s on your mind.  We’ll be doing another prize giveaway, although we have yet to look into the prize vault to see what it will be… but we’ll be picking a random caller to play our “Fact or Utter Bullshit” contest to win a fabulous prize.  You won’t wanna miss out on 2 hours of uncensored, unfiltered hilarity.  So don’t!  Tune in!

*Provided, of course, that our Internet connection from Charter doesn’t decide to suck big hairy donkey balls.

Here’s a little taste of what we’ll be talking about on our next show for Saturday, February 13th:

  • Throwing snowballs is now a felony?!
  • Six year old girl committed to a mental facility after unruly behavior in school
  • SNOWPOCALYPSE 2010… 49 out of 50 states now have snow on the ground. (Sucks to be you, Hawaii!)
  • Another university shooting incident, this time in Huntsville, AL… when will people stop with the entitlement complexes?!
  • Best and worst Super Bowl ads (hint: GoDaddy is not on the list of “best ads”, in case you were wondering…)

…plus music from slowEarth, GirlShawn with celebrity gossip, some possible guests in studio, and (hopefully) your calls live on air!  You know you’re just going to be sitting around eating French toast anyways… why not make your day much more fun by tuning in to Irreverent Radio?  3pm Eastern, right here on the website (use the blue player in the right sidebar to listen live).

Bob Barr takes on DNA database expansion proposal

Bob Barr takes on DNA database expansion proposal — Peach Pundit.

Wow. There are so many things wrong with this bill that I could probably fill up 2 hours along on the obvious destruction of personal rights and liberties that this bill brings up.

HB1033 is yet another one of those laws that while it looks good initially, it delves into all sorts of major constitutionality issues. More on Saturday.

Georgia GOP seems miffed by its front-runner

GOP seems miffed by its front-runner | ajc.com.

I’m not a huge fan of Oxendine. I’ve never hidden that. The guy, while appearing all shiny and new on the outside, reeks of garbage once the veneer begins to get stripped away.  Much like the quote in the article, “‘The older I get, the less I listen to what people say, and the more I watch what people do.’”  I just don’t see what Oxendine has “done” that warrants his front-runner status.  More on the show on Saturday.
